This Just In! ~~~~ We had a great time at the second Wednesday Workshop! Nancy Pietras helped us make beautiful paper covered cigar boxes! Next week we will make Alcohol Ink Canvases with Marilyn Kayne! Join us! Tuesday, February 28th at 6:30pm,Bev Mason will show us how to get the most out of our Scortape! It isn’t just adhesive! If you made a Triangle Joy card, bring it in for a chance to win a small prize.    Wednesday Workshops On March 8th from 1-4pm we will have a Wednesday Workshop by Marilyn Kayne that will feature Alcohol inks on a 5″x7″ canvas panel. Pictured below are two canvas’ recently done by Marilyn. Every one will be different. The fee is $10 per canvas We will furnish all supplies.  March Classes: Friday March 3rd at 12noon Nancy Pietras will teach a class making Fabric covered purses from pencil boxes! There will be different fabrics and trims from which to choose. The pictures are from a previous class. Fee $15 Please pre-register. Friday, March 10th at 11am Karen Schwochow will teach a Black and White Card class. Preregister for this popular class! Fee $15 inside train card: Saturday, March 11th at 1230pm Peggy and Amy Packer will teach a multimedia canvas class. preregistration required. fee $25 Our Spring Card Buffet is coming! March 16,17 and 18th (Thurs,1-5p Fri,11-3pm & Sat, 1230-330p) 12 assorted cards,choose what you want to make, $2.50 per card. Make one card or all 12! Bring your basic class kit. This Just In! ~~~~ The Nuvo Mousse is back in stock!  Join us Tuesday, February 14th at 6:30pm, when Nancy Pietras will demo Art Impressions’slider cards as well as a book/card that looks very hard but isn’t! Did you try making the little mail box treat box? How about the Origami box that Gay Trent demonstrated at our Saturday Demo? Bring in a sample for a chance to win a small prize.    Wednesday Workshops Our second workshop will be February 22nd between 1 and 4pm and will be taught by Nancy Pietras. She will help you make a beautiful paper covered, hinged wooden box. Choose from several types of boxes and papers. $10 per box. Please preregister to ensure we have enough boxes for everyone. We are quickly filling this class, don’t be left out! Pictures don’t do them justice….stop in to see!  Classes/events February classes: Did you get Chameleon Markers for Christmas?! Did you get them LAST(2015) Christmas?! And you still don’t know how to use them??? We have a great class for people who would like to learn how to get the most of of these fabulous Markers! You don’t have to be an artist to get beautiful shading results! This class is a technique class….you will get lots of practice and instruction…..we will not be making cards during this class. The class is scheduled for Friday, February 17th at 11am. The fee is $15 and we would like to have everyone pre registered by Feb 14th Call or email us to register. I have had a number of people ask me “when will you have a Cricuit class?”  Well, we have one scheduled for Saturday, February 18th at 1230pm. Bev Mason will teach you what you want to know about your Cricut! She is very knowledgeable about all of the Cricuit machines. You will be required to bring your own Cricket and laptop computer so she can help you get your machine connected. The project will be a Concertina style “book” that can be used as an elaborate card or mini album. It will be Spring themed.The fee is $5. All supplies will be provided, but If you don’t want to wait to share, bring a score board and bone folder with you.  This will be a quick and fun workshop taught by Cheryl Harwick.Cheryl will teach people as they arrive. No need to preregister.
